Christ's hands to a world in need

So what exactly is Caring Hands? St Teresa of Avila once said these words:

Christ has no body now on earth but yours,

no hands but yours,

no feet but yours,

Yours are the eyes through which is to look out

Christ's compassion to the world;

Yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good;

Yours are the hands with which he is to bless men now.

Through Caring Hands Ministry I hope to be able to give spiritual and emotional support to some of the wounded and venerable children and parents in society. Practical support and help is for the most part already available, but quite often dysfunctional families are not always supported spiritually and emotionally. It will involve liaising with other organisations to build a network of support to those in need. Caring Hands is a Para-Church organisation and not affiliated to any denomination.

Enquires from those of other faith's or no faith are welcome as long as you are in agreement with basic Christian principles.

Caring Hands Ministry is based in Milton Keynes, and at the moment is only operating in this area, but as the work expands it will hopefully spread further.
